Madeleen is a wonderful and talented make-up artist and hair stylist!!! I looked stunning on my big day. It wasn't only her ability as a make-up artist and hair stylist that impressed me and my bridal party but also the fact that she really cares about your big day as if she is family/your best friend. I had a challenging week prior to the wedding and missed my initial trial with Madeleen due to unforeseen circumstances; I was so worried that she wouldn't be able to do my trial before the wedding but she went out of her way to see me. She actually had to move other appointments in order to fit me in.

I was seeking high and low for someone to attend to my hair and make-up on my wedding day. As it forms such an important part of the whole day, I wanted somebody that I felt comfortable with, someone that would listen to my ideas, but also gave me good advice. Obviously someone that is good, that knows what she is doing.

A friend then told me about Madeleen and her superior service - I am forever thankful to my friend.

Madeleen renders a service that is not only professional, but also personal. She is a warm-hearted person, that makes you feel at ease from the first time you meet her. She has a passion for what she does and it shows in her way of doing things.

I’ve known Madeleen for a while now, so when I had to choose someone to do my make-up for my wedding – she was my first choice!

I went to see her, and she immediately made me feel at ease about my make-up. She even offered to do my hair for me too! How convenient!

Even though I didn’t really have a clear idea of what I wanted from my make-up, Madeleen was very helpful in guiding me, by asking simple questions. After the trial, I was ecstatic, as she had completely understood what I wanted – it looked exactly like I wanted, in fact, even better than I had thought possible!

On the morning of the wedding, I was fairly nervous, but Madeleen took my mind off all the craziness! She is very professional, yet very relaxed at the same time. We had a good chat while she was busy – it felt like it was my sister doing my hair and make-up! I was so relaxed and distracted, I almost lost track of time! ;)

Madeleen is always friendly, helpful when you ask her questions about the make-up and products, she is knowledgeable on the products she uses, and she has fantastic skills! She will also go that little bit further, just to make sure your day is special! I would recommend her to any bride-to-be!

Thanks again for all the effort Madeleen – without you it could not have been the wonderful day it was! You made me feel like a princess – I never knew I could look so beautiful! :) You’re an absolute star!

With a calm and relaxed attitude Madeleen did my whole bridal party's hair and make-up. it is important to have someone at the preparation of your wedding day who have a calming effect on everyone. Madeleen listened to what I wanted and she gave me exactly that.

‘n Bruid kan beslis geen fout maak om Madeleen te vra om haar hare en grimering te doen nie. Ek kan onthou die dag toe ek vir my “trial” gegaan het. Madeleen het my vriendelik gegroet met ‘n warm drukkie en my rustig laat sit terwyl sy vir my een van haar lekker “sweeties” aangebied het. Sy het my so op my gemak laat voel.  Ons het vir ‘n tydjie gesels oor wat ek ingedagte het vir die groot dag.

Tydens my “trial” het ek tjoepstil gesit en kon nie wag om die eind resultate te sien nie. Toe Madeleen my draai dat ek in die spieel kan kyk was my reaksie “WOW”!!! Van my hare tot by my grimering was alles perfek tot op die laaste “detail”.

Toe die groot dag aanbreek was Madeleen stiptelik daar met haar vriendelike en sagte geaardheid! Alles was weereens perfek nes met die “trial”! Wat vir my wonderlik was is die feit dat die grimering so lank gehou het. Tydens die fotos was my grimering nogsteeds perfek en was daar nie eers nodig vir “optouch” nie!

“Madeleen, Dit was die beste besluit gewees om jou te kies vir my hare en grimering. ALLES WAS PERFEK. En die komplimente wat ek gekry het en steeds kry wanneer daar na ons fotos gekyk word is priceless. Baie dankie vir alles en vir die deel wat jy uitgemaak het van ons troudag! How can I thank someone that made me feel beautiful, gorgeous, striking and attractive at the same time?  Madeleen I can honestly say you were a pleasure to work with and I don’t have enough compliments to describe your elegant way of transforming a blank canvas to a work of art.  I always thought make up is so easy to apply as hey we all do it every day but you blew away my expectations.  You have such a good atmosphere around you and can immediately calm down any situation. "I found Madeleen's details on one of the wedding websites I visited. As any bride-to-be does, I asked for quotes and details from many beauty therapists, but even at that early stage Madeleen stood out from the rest. In today's world- where things are ruled by the internet and email, she took the time to call me and make personal contact. She sent her details through and even her brochure looked beautiful! Something about Madeleen's emails, phone calls, brochure and website made me feel very at ease- and I decided to use her for my wedding day.

I went to her salon for my trial (she stayed at work late on a Friday evening to accomodate me!). The salon was beautifully decorated, with soothing music playing in the background. Madeleen made me feel very comfortable,she understood exactly what I wantedand we chatted like old friends that night!

On my wedding day, she came to the guestlodge I was getting dressed at to do my hair and make-up. She went the extra mile by coming earlier than I had expected her to, because she knew how worried I was that everyone would be late! My sister-in-law and one of my friends were helping me get dressed that day and they said that even though that hadn't met Madeleen before, they felt like they had known her for ages... she was one of the girls!

My wedding was absolutely perfect and our family and friends, to this day, still comment on how natural my make-up and hair looked- it was absolutely beautifully done! It is so important to surround yourself with people you trust to help you make your wedding day everything you want it to be... I am so thankful that I chose Madeleen to be a part of my most special day!"
